KCTV5: An overnight DUI checkpoint in Kansas City added up to 18 arrests for police.
Money Quote: "Police said they stopped 734 vehicles Saturday night during the five-hour checkpoint at West 39th Street and Southwest Trafficway. The northbound traffic was checked."

Well it is nice to know that 734 citizens were inconvenienced so the city could collect $7200 in fines. Mean time cops were partying like hell north of the river.
If people would just obey the god damn laws, follow the rules, we'd have a less stressful and more peaceful society.

Yes, I was stopped at one about 6 or 8 years ago around 83(?).
Ya had to pull into a parking lot on the west side of the road.
For some reason I wasn't drunk that day.
And just like clockwork out come all the Weekend Constitutional Lawyers to claim that their rights are being violated.
Stay off the roads drunk, you shitheels, and it will be a nonissue for you.
