KC Biz Journal: "Developer Tom Trabon is the new head of a 13-member panel charged with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the proposed downtown Kansas City streetcar system. Trabon of Trabon & Co. was appointed chairman of the Kansas City Downtown Streetcar Authority on Friday during the group’s first meeting."

Trabon lives in Leawood, KS...WTF!!! How much is JoCo contributing to the Streetcar?...why don't we just outsource all the City's decisions to Johnson County????
You're the one's who wanted to let Leawood and OP and California landlords "vote" on the streetcar instead of the citizens in the tax district...kind of like you all did for the plaza parking garages

The line about Johnson County voting on streetcars voting on the district isn't convincing. All it does is let me know that City Hall and campaign bitches still read TKC.
Well Hell, Trabon could live in Lawrence and it wouldn't have made any difference. The good ole boy network is alive and well, in Mayor Silverback's Kansas City.
