Kansas City Public Works Admits Terrible Mistake Chopping Down Troost Trees

KCTV5: Neighbors in an area known for beautiful trees are angry after the city chopped some of them down, and the city admits it was a mistake. Three days ago, families in the historic Manheim Neighborhood just off 43rd and Troost woke up to an unpleasant surprise as chainsaws cut down one large sycamore tree after another so construction crews could put down brand new sidewalks."

Another fine example of local control city services.

Of course our showcase of local control is the KCSD display of how to throw our kids education and futures away.

Yep lets keep thinkin about how to get our police under local control so we can absolutely and inrretreiveably screw up an alreay dysfunctional service.

Oh Yeah Sly and Jolie keep yelling for local control of police. Not one person has even tried to make the case for local police control

That's truly horseshit. Unbelievable that they would chop down beautiful living things without following any sort of protocol.

well, well, well, there my old friend and Funky's sycophant Bill Drummond. All over TV crying about sycamore trees. Seems he do like wood.

I love bureaucrats. If the government does it then it is a mistake. If a citizen does it then it is a felony that may land you in prison. Your tax dollars at wqrk!
