Kansas City Payday Loan Protest Clip
Just a bit of video from a Kansas City Payday Loan protest on Main Street yesterday afternoon.
It was nice weather for the Midtown gathering and I'm still getting accustomed to the camera my tía gave me earlier in the year.
Nevertheless . . . CCO and assorted faith communities promise more activism on payday loan regulations and raising the minimum wage.
DEVELOPING . . .

White people trying to help black people
That's not so horrible.
But it's just dumb people from all races who use those loans irresponsibly.
See, to get a loan, you need income.... ..'
I just hope one day the government will regulate everything, taking my life completely out of my hands and therefore relieving me of self blame. They can pay all our bills, decide what I can eat and the portions allowed, tell all companies what to do, and raise my kids for me. When that day comes we will see America flourish again
Why don't these do-gooders try "walking a mile in the payday loan companies' shoes" and start up their own payday loan services with interest rates that they consider "fair"? After they've been stiffed and discover they have no recourse to get their money back, they may understand the need for such high interest rates a little better.
Easy fix don't borrow the money or lets close them down and let the gangster have it with no regulation.
I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!
These peeps are all stupid, but they make me money!
