Kansas City Mayor Sly's Bloomberg Pitch
NYC Mayor Bloomberg recently issued an "innovation challenge" i.e. nationwide pr effort to distract from his laughable big soda crackdown.
Here is the Kansas City response from Mayor Sly's team:

The motions graphics are intended to lure local young professionals who are also interested in padding their résumés.
It's not exactly a horrible thing . . . It just won't help residents looking for something a bit more substantial from our Mayor with a beautiful smile.

Mayor's Challenge Cabinet- Young professionals= Too naive and star-struck to see the bullshit in this. Even those that do will be "controllable"- unless they want to jeopardize their professional careers.
Another bullshit program coming out of City Hall. Maybe if Mayor Sly had actually participated in the operations of the City BEFORE deciding to run for Mayor, he would realize that this is not the first SOLUTION to providing City services to be proposed.
Remember FOCUS? Service First? Schools First? The 3-1-1 Action Center? And that's just in the last 10 years.
Does Mayor Sly really think he can push this through the do-nothing bureaucratic mind set at 12th and Oak? Hell, the clerical staff there has to lick chicken grease from their fingers before they can help you.
Somebody needs a proofreader. @ 1:29 they talk about pubic pain. I think they meant public.

Dear Lord, I thought we ended that problem. Is it going on in the (gasp) Mayor's toilet area?
Do tell, Mr. Tony, WHO are the current staffers? I understand the public relations veneer of sticking young faces in places of power, but Are they TOO young to be on the job if they are still going through puberty? They may be too young to know how to proof read a power point. Spell Check isn't meant to replace education.
Who are the staffers in the Mayor's FiberHOOD? What are their ballpark salaries? Who are the people in the mayor's kitchen Cabinet?
This is certainly disturbing news.
