A tragic report of the latest instance of deadly Kansas City gun violence:
A man was shot and killed in Kansas City early Saturday, police said. Investigators said the victim was shot at East 29th Street near Cleveland Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Unofficially, this marks the 71st Kansas City homicide so far this year compared with 76 at this time last year.

WOW... a homicide on the East side? That's unheard of in this day and age... better call the feds in.. Should I take a gamble to say what race was killed, or what the minority of the suspect was?

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting this info. The now more than four year old bloodbath on the East side is continuing. Time for the "usual suspects" to start writing op-eds/giving talks claiming that the ongoing crime disaster in the city's black neighborhoods is due to A) The recession B) Lack of effective gun control C) If they really get desperate, try the "lead paint in houses" explanation. Notice Chiefy didn't say how soon after a murder he arrives on the crime scene.....
