A nice round-up from The Examiner . . .
Jackson County is asking for new proposals for the operation of the new animal shelter in Independence.
It seems like opening this place at full capacity is gonna take FOREVER or at least long enough for Jackson County Legislator Denny Waits to start answering some real questions about the obviously poor planning of his pet project.
Look at the bright side at least the building was finished unlike say West Edge which will continue to suck our money away for the rest of our lives.

ReplyDeleteHa, ha! I remember that cover of the National Lampoon. It said, "Buy this magazine or we shoot the dog!" The next issue said they shot the dog because not enough people bought the magazine. I miss their sick humor.

Is this why former Councilmember Lucy Young resigned? She was a part of this shelter in Independencde with Denny Waits?
