TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! TODAY'S 99% PLAZA GYMBOREE PROTEST PICTORIAL!!!

Title for the Kansas City 99% protest today: "America for Us All", or an America of the 1% and division wrought by the Tea Party.

One of their marching cries . . . "Today we stake our claim as Missourians: "Let the welfare of the people be the supreme law."

They seemed pretty pissed @ The Tea Party too . . . Apparently, "The Tea Party Has Got To Go."

Here's what it looked like to me . . . As always, click the image for a bigger, better view . . .

And then . . .

THE GUY IN THE SUIT AND PUSHING THE WHEELBARROW FULL OF FAKE MONEY IS THE TKC FAVORITE PROTESTOR OF THE DAY!!!

HE'S FIGHTING THE POWER IN FINE STYLE AND STAYING IN CHARACTER TO MOCK THE 1% WITH SOME WEIGHTY PROPS ON A HOT SUMMER'S DAY!!!

And the conclusion with firey statement directed at the good people working crappy jobs @ Gymboree . . . owned by Bain Capital.

More later . . .

This guys are losers. As Pat Bateman would say, "get a job!" As a manager of a business, I can tell you the hardest part of hiring people, and we need people, is that modern people suck. They whine, they sue, they harass each-other, and they complain without limits. Even the ones that really suck think you owe them more. Going to a third-world country with eager people is a great option.

Plaza security was scared. Should have given them the bum's rush.

Yawn. Isn't it the middle of the day? Shouldn't they be working or looking for a job?

Anonymous said...

Romney sent all the jobs to Asia.

@ 8:23pm Then go to a third world country you self righteous prick. If you manage a business owned by Bain Capitol, you must be too stupid to realize they are banking billions while giving you a barely livable wage with no health insurance.
I have a great job with great benefits, but I am still smart enough to see the plight of those who work for greedy bastards, and have no choice because of the need to support families.
I hope you lose your job to a third world country, and have to beg for a minimum wage job.

Another Kansas City wannabe joke. If you looked at the voting records of most of these people, you'd probably find them not registered or not having even voted in recent elections. Just part of the usual 80% of KCMO voters who can't find the time to just do a little bit of work and participate so that they could really play some role in "the welfare of the people".
Just like Occupy, and byttaht I mean the NY group, not the tent city bozos here, after the marches are over and the "demands" are made, they have nothing to say.
And meanwhile, the other terrible people that they criticize are out raising money, registering voters, participating in the process, and winning elected positions where they can affect policies.
And these duds are home making up their next signs.
Irrelevant!

And the guy in the suit pushing the wheelbarrow full of money is actually a TIF bond attorney coming home from a visit to city hall right under these people's noses.
Protesting for minimum wage on the Country Cllub Plaza.
What could possible go wrong?

8:23 is one of those dumbshits who is getting ass raped, but believes the CEO when he is told he should be happy because at least he is getting sex. Living proof that you really can't fix stupid.

Anonymous said...

I have a strong work ethic, but I'm tired of getting screwed over by greedy idiots. Please make the 1% stop raping me.

Don't worry. You can call on your mystical inner wherewithall to shut that whole thing down and you'll be fine. Well, you might want to take an asperin before going to bed.

I like the protestor crowd. Plenty of chicks- some of them hot- with a passion for the underdog loser. And a few of them even know how to use razors.

Good protest. I like the energy and appreciate people who will get off their ass and do something instead of just complain.

if you noticed half of the protesters signs...they were make from cardboard home depot boxes....which is owned by bain co...

Anonymous said...

Good one!

Anonymous said...

Can't wait for their Oreo leader to join them in the unemployment line on Nov 6th.

Anonymous said...

Seriously 10:36? You like the energy? Why don't these complaining asshats get a job? All they DO is bitch that they don't have a bigger handout.

Romney in 2012!

These are people who have $20,000 student loans and studied things like French Anthropology and can't figure out why they can't get a job that pays $75,000 a year. These are the people who don't realize that student loans are controlled by the gov't now to subsidize the broken college system. These are the people to whom the government hasn't said no to their parents getting hip replacements because walkers and pain meds are cheaper and the gov't won't ever recoup the cost in taxes. But the rich will go to the Bahamas for their healthcare and the middle class will be screwed so the poor can have a token of healthcare.

For all the comments that speak to an unfair and incresingly upside-down financial system and a government that has been increasingly controlled by those folks for their own personal benefit, you're exactly right.
But marching around on a summer day has the half-life of about two hours, even though you get on television for 20 seconds and somehow get TKC out of his basement for a few pictures.
An election is coming up. Register and vote and round up other like-minded folks to do the same. Support candidates who reflect your views up and down the ballot. Write, telephone, and visit elected officials between elections to make your views known. Raise money and collaborate with like-minded groups.
Making signs and marching is easy. Making a real difference is hard. Just ask the young marchers in Egypt.

They are the 99%, it appears that they are 100% of the idiots living in this God forsaken town, all 100 of them.

A one class system sounds great; until you've destroyed everyone's desire to work. Ok we have 2 jobs available, one is 40 hours a week, low stress, no thought. The other is 80 hours a week, the stress of the business working or failing based off your choices, and no personal life. Don't worry both jobs pay the same, pick one. Idiots, use logic over warm feelings. This is why we are failing.

My career jobs have mostly all paid in excess of $80K and were management positions. As part of the "elite", I gotta tell you these protesters are full-O-shit! It was "management" folks, who constantly lobbied for 1) More benefits 2) Decent wages 3) Improved conditions, etc. These idiots that follow whatever bright object they see, will always be minimum wage morons and while we need them too, much of their complaining falls on deaf ears. In many years in the work force, not once did a "poor person" EVER offer me a job...

Anonymous said...

8:09: This may come as a shock, but at $80K per year you are hardly in the elite. In "Wall Street" Gordon Gecko looks down on those making $300,000 a year, and that was 1987.

You may have come a long way, but you've still got a long way to go.
