Here are just a few examples:
Our losing sports teams seem to be a political hot potato as well: Royals, Chiefs spending draws scrutiny from Jackson County
Just threw this one in here because it fit . . . Maybe not a political problem but Meth Town Crime always plagues Jackson County: Independence hit with rash of AC unit thefts
A sign that political priorities are out of line with what constituents want from JaxCo government: Task force recommends no changes to County Charter
A high-profile case of alleged corruption: Former court administrator used funds to buy $25,000 in gift cards
So much for promises of "reform" from Crystal and the rest of the gang at The Courthouse. In fact, things in Jackson County seem just about as screwed up as ever.
