Recently we noted that Mike's Tavern is going Mexican on Monday.
Even more interestingly . . . They're changing decor.
Check out a mural they've recently completed . . . They've been keeping friends updated on the progress for while but not it's done for the big Mexican switchover.
Kinda nice and I wonder if it'll make things a bit more inclusive given that Mike's is a favorite hangout for Kansas City's political class and just about as close as they want to get to the Eastside.
I expect KC's elite has more taste in Resteraunt ambiance. Even Mexican.
ReplyDeleteWhat we need are South Texas Taco Cabanas Patio restaurants...which HAVE NO ambiance since they're converted gas stations...but the food is fast and fabulous.
Mesquite grilled fajitas...kind of a Mexican FIVE GUYS but with beer.
