TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS CALLS IT QUITS!!!

Recently there was a high profile resignation from The KCPS.

THE LADY ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF THE KCPS RECENTLY RESIGNED!!!

It's a high level departure but KICK-ASS TIPSTERS PROVIDE EXCLUSIVE BACKGROUND and tell us that the honorable woman was really a member of "the old Covington Crew" and the whole deal is tantamount to house cleaning . . . Luckily, that's just what the KCPS needs right now.

DEVELOPING . . .

There is a saying in the corporate world: no one ever resigns.

Agree with TKC for once. A house cleaning is in order.

How many 'scholars' resign each year? Love to know the REAL dropout rate, before they start jimmying the numbers! And, btw, do they do exit interviews to find out why?

Anonymous said...

They should hire former council members to fill the positions.

You do not get an exit interview if you are fired for forced to resign, which is the same thing.

Rats jumping a sinking ship----IT'S ABOUT TIME

I think the place needs to be leveled and built from scratch. Take a look at the new CFO. He may be new to KCMSD, but he's caused his share of problems.

What? The new CFO has an impeccable record.

Doesn't anyone anywhere have the guts to put this dysfunctional expensive fiasco out of its misery? How many more generations of young people ahve to hit 18 years old without any chance of success while the "adults" fight among themselves as to who should get the money and jobs?
Another example of the kind of self-appointed selfish leadership that the black community continues to suffer from.
What happened to your efforts, mayor? Don't tell me the streetcar is more important than the kids.

Green is a complete fraud and that is why staff are/have resigned. Much to uncover about Green if anyone out there has the time/ability.

The REAL drop-out rate for KCPS has been much LOWER than the reported drop-out rate. Green is the first superintendent since Taylor to actually attempt to track down where many students have gone. Many students have been counted as drop-outs simply because the district failed to keep accurate records. Students that did not officially withdraw were receiving transcripts and enrolling in other districts. These kids were counted as drop-outs. The drop-out rate is still too high, but not nearly as high as the numbers suggest.
