We don't like to post on Sunday and we're trying to keep cool in our underground lair . . . But other than they typical ritual of Kansas City non-reporting on Sunday. Something interesting has arisen . . . Which is why I'm using one of my favorite Jordan Carver photos.

ALL OFF THE RECORD AND ALL UNCONFIRMED . . . TKC TIPSTERS TELL US OF A NOTABLE RUCKUS IN THE P&L DISTRICT POOL PARTY PLACE "THE JONES" OVER THE WEEKEND!!!
These three bits of information came in overnight and they all seem to note a rather decent splash up at the P&L District hangout . . .
"TKC. There was a HUGE brawl at The Jones over the weekend. Do some digging. It was bad."
"There was a shooting at the Jones Pool Saturday afternoon…..why is there no coverage of this?"
"Are you aware that the Jones is a disaster Tony? A major disturbance on Saturday confirmed it."
And here I thought most of the complaints about The Jones were nothing more than the typical Jersey Shore crowd washing up.
Also . . . Let's correlate this with IMPORTANT TIPSTER REPORTING OF A P&L DISTRICT FLASH MOB that mostly was under the radar.
Judge the info for yourself but there is a growing perception that mainstream media isn't reporting some of the more embarrassing P&L District news that might give Kansas City a better perspective on the ongoing tax money dedicated to the place every year.

Like you said yourself, you don't normally post things on a Sunday, but here's a Jordan Carver picture and a lot of unconfirmed quotes from your tipsters -- which is pretty much exactly what that person predicted would happen eight hours ago.

There was not a shooting. There was a medical call to the pool and several of the patrons interferred with the police and medics. Place was way overcrowded.
No shooting at all . Was there for the whole thing. Please find something else to do besides lie . If you didn't see it with your own eyes don't speak it with your big mouth .

P&L Security cleans up all of the fights every weekend without reporting what happened at all. Standard practice and it's starting to draw the attention of more people.

I was at the Jones Saturday afternoon. While there were a LOT of people there, I didn't see a fight or hear a gunshot. A fight could have happened outside of the pool area (back by the bathrooms or up front at the entrance) but none broke out around the pool.
I'm not even sure how you'd get a gun in there since everyone is in swim suits and they check your bag when you pay the cover. I understand people don't like the Jersey Shore crowd but that's no reason to be a fun-hater. You've obviously never been, or you would know that it is a pretty diverse crowd up there.

HA the fact you waste your time mentioning the jones pool is what is sad. You have obviously not been there. 30,000 millionaires ? Most people I know that get cabanas save their money and do it once for their birthday with some friends who chip in. There is no one there trying to act like a millionaire. Also, if there was a shooting, it would be on the police records. If there was a fight, who knows. The elevators were broken and a girl got heat stroke and the medics had to use the stairs to get aid to the girl which meant there was a big jam of people trying to leave. We were all asked to go out the back way so the medics could help the girl. Know the facts! Jones does have some D bags but if you don't like it, don't hang out there!
what keeps me away from the Jones pool is the pictures that float around facebook of the clientelle and the people packed into the pool like sardines. NASTY clientelle, NASTY pool water. no thanks. but keep the pictures coming, because its quite entertaining.
The Jones Pool is disgusting. It's like douche bag soup. A Bud Light petri dish brimming with suburban bacteria who meet up and spawn. A Cordish wet dream.
No shooting.. Just a fight and a girl taken to the hospital. Things like this happen at every bar in KC. The Jones is no different. When alcohol is involved shit happens. If someone can name a bar that has never had someone that has over done it or one that has never had a fight I would be surprised.
