CRITICS OF JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATOR CRYSTAL WILLIAMS CONTEND THAT IF SHE WERE TO WIN HER STATE SENATE RUN IT WOULD CAUSE A SPECIAL ELECTION TO FILL HER SEAT (EW) AND THAT WOULD COST THE TAXPAYERS MONEY!!!
And speaking of Jackson County juggernauts . . .
LOCAL POLITICAL WATCHERS LAMENT THE FACT THAT THE FUTURE PLANS OF OUTGOING MO STATE SENATOR VICTOR CALLAHAN PROBABLY DON'T INCLUDE GOING BACK TO JACKSON COUNTY GOVERNMENT!!!
So many folks were hoping for a showdown for the County Executive job . . . But for now State Sen. Callahan is keeping everybody guessing.
As election season comes closer the mud slinging should get even better . . . But already tonight we're seeing tempers heat up along with the temperatures in Jackson County and across the Kansas City political spectrum.
