TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MEDIA FAIL TO REPORT P&L DISTRICT VIOLENT FLASH MOB ON SATURDAY NIGHT!!!

Check a tragic bit of local violence reported from an AWESOME TKC TIPSTER . . .

"Flash mob at P&L Saturday night when the Sprint Center let out. Fights everywhere. Mostly juveniles. PD had to call in reinforcements."

Apparently, there's a rather serious effort to keep this quiet or one of the TV stations would have picked up on it for the weekend . . .

TKC POINT OF FACT . . .

IT'S GONNA BE HARD TO SELL PRICEY CONDOS WHEN THERE ARE FLASH MOBS ACROSS THE STREET IN AND AROUND THE P&L DISTRICT!!!

Sadly, there was always the hope in Kansas City that the P&L District would become a hot spot . . . But not like this, not like this . . .

DEVELOPING . . .

These aren't flash mobs... flash mobs dance and stretch in coordinated public displays.

These are no different than any other violent mob of teens that have been problems for years before the social media phenomenon known as flash mobs began.

You can't really call a crowd of people exiting a concert a flash mob... lol

Did the KC command gave away a bunch of free tickets for their shitty game. bad move.

What happened to the hot spot crime plan? Another kcpd fail.

Flash mobs are the the groups of people who call or email each other and say hey lets crowd into this area. Its pre-planned. These were a mob of concert goers leaving. But I do understand what you are saying I heard nothing about it on the news the whole weekend. Hmmmm, I wonder how much money was involved in that hush hush happenings?

Tony. Don't hate on P&L just because none of the girls there will talk to you.

Can't wait for Chuck-les to weigh in on this.....

Fights after a concert full of drunk and high young people. Wow. What next. Water is wet. That is why you have police on hand after these events. Happens in real cities all the time. They just man up and practice crowd control

P&L District is a joke. What a waste of money for KC. Why do we need more bars?

Actually it wasn't so much a concert letting out as it was a Kansas City School District event at the college basketball experience with hundreds of kids. Go ahead and dig into that story, Tony. Its got all of your favorite topics combined into one epic fail: KCMSD, flash mobs, and P&L.

The local media never reports on negative stories involving blacks unless the have absolutely no choice. Does the main stream public have any idea of the KCPD commitment EVERY Sunday for the Swope Park mayhem? NO. Does the media every show video of it? NO. It is a LARGE roving band of urban terrorists EVERY Sunday. PD guys am I lying?

It wasn't a concert, dummies. 10:18 was right, it was freaking semi-pro (if that) football game. I looked to see who was playing, wrongly assuming it was a rap concert or something. Gotta blame this one on the white trash contingent, instead of the usual thuggery.

Everyone would have left peacefully on the Toy Train if it was already running, ya know.

Anxious to see how the youts behave over the All Star Game weekend downtown.

Yes and no. Swope park has been in decline the past couple of summers. No where near what it was.

Still using manpower on hot spot saturation bs and city BBQs that no one in is attending is bs. We r nothing more than paid baby sitters.

There was a 7-on7 football tournament before the Command game. Probably just some Johnson County thugs.

11:51,

Regardless of what you looked up online, I was actually there and asking the cops what was going on. didn't see any packs of "white trash" or people who appeared to be from Johnson County. I did however see hundreds of young African American kids running amuck and terrorizing everyone. The police tried to do what they could with what appeared to be little manpower.

10:51 is right. The cops said it was a KCMSD event at the basketball experience and when it was over, the kids just got pushed out the door and were no longer the problem of the school district. That lead to them eventually getting a little wild and crazy before they were dispersed.

I thought our tax money was paying for bbq's to prevent this kind of thing?

Who is the genius that came up with the idea to host a party for teens in an area that is included in the curfew zone. They would have been in violation of the curfew simply by being outside waiting for their ride. Curfew or not, it's a bad idea to host teens on a Saturday night in any bar district.
