Protestors For ACE Schools Desperately Protest Homes of KCPS Board Members!!!

Here's another reason why so many people avoid Kansas City politics . . .

Fox4: "The (Afrikan Centered Education) charter school’s contract with the district is set to expire on June 30th, and the district plans on taking over immediately. That plan hasn’t set well with ACE parents like Spark Bookhart, who this week joined other parents protesting at the home of KCSD board member Derek Richey."

While we agree that School Board Member Derek Richey does make a good political punching bag . . .

This strategy doesn't do much good now that the decision is nearly complete.

And for the record . . . When ACE supporters talk about KCPS failure . . . It's important to remember that THE VERY SAME ACE SCHOOLS THEY'RE TOUTING ALSO FAILED TO MEET MAP TEST EXPECTATIONS RIGHT ALONG WITH SO MANY OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE DISTRICT!!!

This is an often overlooked FACT that contradicts a few of these flimsy arguments in support of outgoing ACE School Management.

Still . . . Protests are fun and teach scholars a valuable lesson that bad test scores are par for the course but taking to the streets is only necessary when contracts expire.

DEVELOPING . . .

ACE would be a joke but for their record of failure.

You fail to sufficiently improve test scores as required by law.

You fail to manage money responsibly.

Your school's leadership didn't make a sufficiently persuasive case to the school board to leave ACE alone.

You didn't persuade voters to show up to support your candidates for the school board, and you lost at h polls.

Your state senator failed to secure passage of legislation to take over the schools so you could try to get appointed to the state takeover board.

So now you go to people's homes and whine like babies and blame them for your failures. What a bunch of thugs and babies.

The African Centered parents are starting to get irritating. I say shut the school down and open up a vocational school so these kids can get jobs when they graduate.

Mr. Tony,
Pardon my intrusion into the KCSD debacle. The ACE project was a nice dream, but dear me, when somebody comes along and starts rudely shaking the bed it is time to wake up!.
Miss Kiki and her cohorts need to wake up. If they continue to try to bring emotional drama into a purely educational issue they will surely lose what little kind regard this city may still have for them.
KIKI, up and at 'em! You will never be "Congresswoman Kiki" if you keep laying down with dogs. You have Missouri Black Caucus visitors coming to town. They may want to know all about the MEC reports and such.
My dear, you have a lot on your plate. Rev Tindall, Gayle Holliday, the brothers Bland and the rest of Freedom need you to focus on MEC. Today may be a tricky day for you, Bless your heart.

I thought Crispan fixed all this? Guess not?

Crispin was too busy covering up the botched $34 million insider contract that was uncovered by Channel 41 and had to be canceled.
Never did hear the whole story like he promised.

I support Derek Richey, and in spite of everything, I believe this is the best school board we've had at least the past two decades.

That may be true; at least they've worked hard to get the grifters' and deadbeat contractors' snouts mostly out of the trough.
But it's way too late to salvage the district as an educational institution.

ACE was a trough for Ajamu Webster, his daughter, Audrey Bullard and all his cronies who made big money while failing their students. That idiot Spark was quoted in the paper spouting such nonsense like they are going to keep fighting. Good luck with that, Sparky. The fight is over and your team lost. Give up and find some other trough to stick your snout in at mealtimes.

Funny how these fools know better than to protest in front of the Black and Hispanic member's houses... Shit if Spark brings his ass to my house at night with that drama and noise, mark my word they better be strapped, either way add more bodies to the summer hit list.... Call Forte' and tell him to ready the meat wagon.
