Kansas City Sports Predictions Serve As Contrary Indicators And Yael Makes Me Sad!!!
The Kansas City Star has remained chipper amid decades of local pro-sports FAIL and that's a big part of this town's systemic mediocrity.
Still . . . A recent sports insight from KC Star political hack Yael Abouhalkah was exceptionally insipid.
SILLY KANSAS CITY STAR NEWSIE YAEL THINKS THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS ARE IN A PENNANT RACE!!!
I don't know if he's finally just given up and started writing satire (join the club) or if he's foolish enough to believe his own opinion.
Here's the premise of yet another mistaken insight . . .
"What Royals fans really want is a team competing for a pennant. And, surprisingly, the Royals - in tantalizing fashion - seem to be doing just that."
That's a bold statement for an inconsistent string of meaningless victories against equally worthless teams.
For the record, TKC always expects The Chiefs and Royals to choke in the clutch, only play when it DOESN'T REALLY COUNT and OVERHYPE insignificant accomplishments. And, when all is said and done at the end of the season . . . TKC IS ALWAYS PROVEN CORRECT!!!
So, I'm only hoping that Yael is once again trolling . . . But I doubt it given that he's reportedly the main supporter of KC Star comment censorship.
What's worse is that a few other suckers in this town believe this kind of tripe, try to sell tickets regarding this mistaken notion or, worst of all, believe that a minor mid-season win from Kansas City's perennially pitiful baseball team justifies so many millions from local taxpayers.

The Royals are winning and play in a very weak division. And it's the middle of June. They absolutely are in the race for the post season. Quit being such a bunch of whiny titty babies and enjoy some baseball.
