KANSAS CITY "MOVE TO AMEND" RESOLUTION PASSED BY CITY COUNCIL!!!

Turns out corporations aren't people in Kansas City.
4th District Council Lady Jan Marcason called this "a resolution endorsing good government and transparency."
The vote was unanimous 12-0 . . . Mayor James wasn't at the Legislative Session today but Council Lady Circo noted that he supported the measure as well.
Previously . . .
TKC TIPSTERS broke this story on Monday.
Wednesday this resolution passed through the Finance committee.

Why don't they start by passing strict limits on City Council campaigns? Our City is fantastic at telling others what to do while ignoring our own problems. I ask every councilperson...how does that time and effort spent on taxpayers' dimes improve Kansas City? Go grandstand somewhere else. marceson you should be ashamed of your hypocrisy.
Hey buddy, there are already campaign finance rules of no more than a $3000 donation for City Council races.
Really.......????????, this is what we should be focused on?
Actually, when it comes to being a priority, shaking down the taxpayers for special deals, getting insider contracts, and generally getting whatever you want, in KCMO corporations aren't like regualr folks at all.
If we had an actual city government, at least the taxpayers would have some representation, but that's not the case.
In KCMO corporations are not people; they're much much better than all the rest.
