Kansas City Money Pit Zoo Spending Spree!!!
In yet another scam perpetrated on Kansas City taxpayers at the behest of Golden Ghetto suburbanites . . . Take a look at The Zoo's latest shopping spree:
Star: "Money began flowing to the Kansas City Zoo from its new tax district on Thursday, with the first $3.86 million to be spent on new hires, a penguin exhibit, zoomobiles and other priorities."
TKC FACT . . . Nothing about the Kansas City's money pit zoo is a "priority."
In so many words, a Kansas City tourist attraction (mostly for the residents of JoCo) will be even nicer while City Services in KC Proper still suck and the urban core continues to face decline.
More interestingly . . .
The editorialists at The Kansas City Star mark the Zoo tax as the moment when GOP Machiavelli Jeff Roe became a part of this town's "mainstream" political establishment by bringing home a victory in yet another local election where nobody voted . . . In the grand sense of things, they're probably right given that political divisions and culture wars are simply a red herring and the only real struggle that exists is between the haves and the have-nots . . . In this wicked little town, that argument is manifested by insiders, politicos and the local elite using Kansas City taxpayers as nothing more than a stepping stone in their career journey.

Yeah, give the money to the Guadalupe Center so that they can hire every lazy Latino in the city for no-work jobs.
The zoo is peanuts compared to what's coming down the road. Who's going to get the bucks to scare and trick the public on the next tax votes?
And what about the streetcar vote? So many scams, so little time.
Investing in things like the zoo and streetcars will improve KCMO and hopefully give people a reason to want to live there. Better than make the rich richer with TIF's and stadium renovations.
KC citizens already live in the worlds biggest zoo and very few want to be there.

The Zoo has been steadily improving and will now have a chance to flourish. Like him or not, Roe did a great job on the Zoo campaign and pulled off a win. The truth might hurt some, but them's the facts!
If Jeff (Fat Fuck) Roe is "mainstream", then the whole fucking river is polluted beyond recovery. This fat, worthless bastard is no more "mainstream" than some car salesman in Overland Park. What a joke.
