After a 10 day extension this was presented to Council . . .
Notice to the Mayor and Council from the Acting City Clerk regarding a Certificate of Insufficiency for the petitions entitled "Petition for Recall of Third District Councilman Jermaine Reed".
Nevertheless . . . Organizers of this recall promise to do it again and don't think much of Councilman Reed's efforts to come to a settlement regarding the proposed East Patrol site.

Remeber, this is the same part of the city that managed to surface TWO candidates for FOUR open seats in the lst school board election. You can tell they're really interested in their local government.
Rallies, petitions, vigils, shout-outs at meetings, marches; but never taking the time to actually learn about issues and ideas, participate in making decisions, and working to better the community. Drive around the east side and you'll see the result of decades of operating this way.
Maybe it's time to change the game.
