Either way . . . What's not going to happen is an anti-immigrant backlash given that REPUBLICANS ARE DESPERATE TO EARN LATINO VOTES . . . And the old school anti-immigrant vitriol has done nothing but lose elections and ignore demographic trends.
Meanwhile, this move by Prez Obama is viewed by most as a game changer that now puts the GOP on the defensive.

ReplyDeleteAnswer = because, while political public policy has stated a need for a tough stance against illegals, the "actual" ruling policy has been the opposite. There's no other way to explain the result. So, who have been the beneficiaries of this policy of toleration? Large and small businesses who desire a ready supply of low-wage workers. Political groups who attempt to coalesce these new arrivals and form bases of influence. Financial interests who benefit from their money transfers, and naivety. And many more...
