If Independence had a sober city manager that wasn't concerned about his alley work he'd get why people are concerned. Look at what the US40 Walmart sucked into their city. That place alone generates way too much problems and crime. Converting west Independence into a ghetto is not my idea of urban renewal. I guess when it starts overflowing to the nearby stadiums we will see if anyone wakes up.
He's sober now, went to rehab as soon as he got his pants pulled back up.
