Former Kansas City Mayor and current Rep. Emanuel Cleaver and The Congressional Black Caucus recently dropped a bombshell and might now ESCALATE the Trayvon Martin hot mess.
Here's the money quote:
The resolution states that the February shooting of Martin “sets a horrific precedent of vigilante justice and compromises the integrity of the legal system.” It also says assailant George Zimmerman’s “unfounded assumptions and racial bias led to the use of deadly force.”
In this election year . . . This move on behalf of the Congressman and the CBC seems just a tad divisive or maybe just a very bold move to "rally the base" with an explosive issue.

ReplyDeleteHowever, the media must explain why they edited the 911 call the way they did. When you hear "the whole" 911 call you get a much different impression of the situation.
The pictures of Trayvon are of a much younger and cuter Trayvon. That cute kid would never have been caught at school with stolen jewelry. The more recent pictures of Trayvon on his Facebook page leave a much different impression.
These are not reasons for someone to be killed. Nor are there any good reasons for much of the killings recently.
The only likely thing to occur from this fiasco is that people will not get involved in the protection of their own neighborhood which is the status quo already.
Do we all have to wear "Hoodies" now? Cleaver hates White people and said so at one of his CBC meetings. He likes White people during election time though. Do not allow him to be in Congress no more. Get rid of him and Obama and we will get a lot better.
