TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! DID YOU KNOW THERE WAS A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT PENDING AGAINST KANSAS CITY RED LIGHT CAMERAS?!?!

I didn't know there was a class-action lawsuit against Kansas City Red Light Cameras.

But thanks to a few faithful readers who put me on notice . . .

The Case is in Jackson County Circuit Court right now . . .

Case No. 1116-CV21626
Div. 6
Jury Trial Demanded

Again, I'm surprised that local media hasn't made a bigger deal out of this one.

The Simon Law Firm, which is a St. Louis based Class Action Firm, has filed suit on behalf of the Residents of KC over the cameras. They have similar suits on file against Arnold, Hazelwood, Florissant, Ellisville, Creve Coeur and a few other cities.

  3. Finally!

You know, on a sad note, when good people win the hard battles even losers get to share in the spoils.

So many losers. The whole world seems to add up to a giant pile of fail. But there are a few people who work to make the world a better place, even against such terrible odds as these.

People out there fighting legal battles so we can all be free of tyranny. But the majority of people would (or do) tolerate tyranny. They are willing to be told what to do and how to do it. They wait in line patiently just to "voluntarily" bend over to get ass-raped by the tax man (for instance).

Losers cannot comprehend a world where services exist but they don't have to pay income tax. And they lose so hard that they suck winners into their vortex of fail.

But the next election... what about that?

Where do I sign on?!! I hate having to weigh the situation > $100 bribe(oh, I mean a non-moving violation if I pay up but more if I go to court and lose. How the hell is this legal?) or take a $500 deductible and let the asshole behind rear end me resulting in car and spine damage.

  6. How is it legal? They have a video of the crime. If you claim you were not driving, too bad, don't loan your car to other people.

  7. how many people who go to trial in court on these tickets get convicted vs. are found not guilty or have the case dismissed? my guess is not too many are convicted.
