THE LADIES OF LARKSPUR DANCE POSE @ DR. SKETCHY'S KANSAS CITY & GETTING BACK TO THE TKC GRIND!!!

It was a busier Sunday than usual in Kansas City.

They caught the gorillas lose at the KC Zoo but I'm kinda hoping that Sueko the (unjustly locked up) Kansas City chimp is causing a big of discontent among all of the other apes.

Still, I thought I'd finish today with some images of a special appearance at Dr. Sketchy's Kansas City Anti-Art School.

In the house this evening: The Ladies of Larkspur Dance.

This is probably my favorite shot.

As always, click the image for a bigger view.

It was a nice opportunity to practice taking photos and make sure that politicos in public look even better when I stumble upon their way.

There was a good crowd in attendance this evening.

I had a chance to chat briefly with Melanie Dailey about the somewhat new direction she's taking Larkspur dance.

The group danced with Country Music Star Toby Keith on tour.

"Now we're looking to do more live performances locally as well," Ms. Dailey said. "We really love Rachel's place and this was a nice way to provide and interesting mix in our performances."

The country music sound track was a nice change up.

Because I'm a great admirer of hats . . . Here's Bob D. checking out some rather interesting artwork while wearing some inspired safari gear.

I hear the food is great at this local artsy gathering but I haven't had a chance to try it yet . . . Next time. Still, people rave.

Hopefully, we'll have more links, images, arguing, BREAKING NEWS and all kinds of AWESOME on the way in just a bit and ready for the morning . . . STAY TUNED!!!
