A reasonably nice day led to a great deal of gunfire and robbery attempts in our (not-so) Great City . . .
Here are a couple of headlines:
A man was shot in the abdomen early today after he met two men to sell them some liquor, according to Kansas City police.
And then . . .
A 47-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his buttocks after a man tried to rob him early today.
To wit . . . The local quotient of crime doesn't seem to be decreasing . . . Instead, it's clear that random and not-so random shootings rule the day.
More Crime ! Good thing we're putting in a train downtown. Does it go passed a Hospital?
