TKC EXCLUSIVE TREND SPOTTING!!! 2011 WAS THE YEAR OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEN TAKING CHARGE OF KANSAS CITY!!!

AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS recently took notice of this trend that has yet to earn much mention in mainstream media . . .

2011 WAS A HISTORIC YEAR FOR KANSAS CITY IN TERMS OF AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEN EARNING LEADERSHIP ROLES IN THIS COWTOWN!!!

Mayor Sly James started the trend by earning a victory in a Mayoral election that was exceptionally friendly. Among a great many Kansas City voters the current Mayor continues to hold a special place in their heart and his influence over the Council is clear given quite a few controversial votes that he has been able to win by decisive margins.

KCPD Chief Forté is Kansas City's FIRST African-American Police Chief and it's worth noting that he was the favorite in the process from the outset.

Finally, after a spoiler shocker victory over the Green Bay Packers just about everybody loves Kansas City Chiefs Coach Romeo Crennel. In fact, there's a school of thought that claims The Chiefs have no choice but to give him a chance as head coach.

More to the point . . .

2011 WAS THE YEAR OF THE BLACK MAN IN KANSAS CITY!!!

We posted this observation before mainstream media and I would have had written this even earlier if I hadn't been busy chasing white women. Anyhoo . . .

The Tipster noting this trend far more eloquently:

"2011 has been a very good year for African-American men in positions of authority, making a big difference in Kansas City."

I completely agree.

However, this blog is about the future.

And just as we celebrate achievement . . . Kansas City also needs to hold our leaders accountable.

Early into his term Mayor Sly has been a charismatic force at City Hall that has unified the Council and created a more civil discourse. He's also been in charge of an EPIC SPENDING SPREE that shows no sign of slowing down. And while Mayor Sly has made strides in addressing local crime compared to his predecessors, Kansas City's murder rate remains abysmal and the Mayor has failed to develop any comprehensive plan or strategy to measure his progress in curbing our horrific murder rate.

It's far too early to access the progress of KCPD Chief Forté but the challenges he's facing are complex and varied. Kansas City insiders say that the department is struggling with morale issues and a recent case involving allegations of Black vs. white racism allegations reveal some very real divisions within the organization. Chief Forté's success will not only be determined by statistical progress but also the sentiments from the rank & file of the KCPD.

Coach Crennel simply has to win consistently . . . It's something this town's football team hasn't really done for more than a generation.

To wit, it's important to note that all of these gentlemen have already achieved a great deal this year by simply taking a leadership role in this town. Now, it's in Kansas City's best interest to hope and help a new gentry of local leadership achieve continued success.

The only bad news in all of this is that residents from all walks of life in Kansas City love nothing more than politely and quietly watching people fail.

  6. This definitely explains the spike in the murder rate.

  7. I remember a few years ago, when President Obama sort of stepped in it regarding the flap between Henry Louis Gates and the white Brookline, MA cop who had arrested him (leading to the "Beer Summit").
Columnist George Will made a genuinely telling observation about the claim that "nothing has changed regarding race relations", noting that:
    * between the WHITE blue-collar cop and the BLACK world-famous, wealthy Pulitzer Prize winning author and Harvard professor the reversed social order was already amply clear.
    * but add the fact that if Professor Gates felt racially aggrieved, he had available to him a remarkable line-up of powerful people he could appeal to, such as...
    * The BLACK Chief of Police in Brookline, or
    * the BLACK Mayor of the City of Brookline, or
    * the BLACK Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, or
    * his friend, the BLACK President of the United States

As George Will wondered: WHAT racial disparity?

That probably means they are Uncle Toms.

It's funny that we all want to stop racism, especially black folks, yet here we are bragging about race. WTF?

  11. Don't forget our black school system leadership that has led it to lose its accreditation. The schools are a mess, the crime rate is off the chart and the coach has won one game.

I just thought you bitches who make comments about Chris Moreno should know that he has developed technical capabilities to strip the IP addresses and MAC numbers off of this and other blogs, so it is only a matter of time until your door is visited by a process server. Fuck YOU.

That is very interesting information. I would not believe it unless it was about Chris Moreno, who is one of the smartest young men in the Midwest. If anyone could pull it off, Chris Moreno could.

  17. Tony - I don't know why you get on your knees to suck black cock. The black leadership in this town doesn't give a shit about you or your people. They are among the most bigoted, ethno-centric people you will ever meet. They have a huge sense of entitlement and are waging a unilateral race war.
These people are dangerous and are not good for the city.

  18. 2012 and we're another day closer to being Detroit. They too, were sooooo proud of their black leadership. "Black Leadership", now there's an oxymoron, if ever there was one. Stupid niggers just ruin everything.
