But I thought that Todd Graves did not find anything actionable during his "investigation?"

  5. Good attorney, but JPB doesn't exactly ooze confidence and strength. May be best to keep her out from behind any podiums...

  6. And Finn spends all his time worrying about whether women have access to various forms of contraception.

He has more to worry about now.

  7. And what will Gone Mild have to say?

  8. ABOUT TIME SOMEBODY DID IT...THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DIOCESE HAS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO SOMEONE..FOR TOO LONG THEY HAVE CONSISTENTLY WINKED, SLAPPED A HAND AND LOOKED THE OTHER WAY WHILE DESTROYING THE LIVES OF YOUNG VICTIMS..THEY SHOULD BE IN PRISON, NOT ANOTHER PARISH, NOT SECLUSION, NOT TREATMENT OR ANY OF THAT OTHER BULLSHIT..THEY SHOULD BE IN PRISON!!!

    Let's get drinking.

It's going to be a long night.

  10. Graves should be disbarred for engaging in this attempt to cover up a crime.

  11. FINN MUST RESIGN. CALL FOR FINN TO RESIGN TONY.

I hate to agree with the Anonymice but on this they have a point. Bishop Finn needs to resign.

  14. A couple misdemeanor charges over allowing priests to ruin people's lives for years.
And the charges still have to be proven; no easy feat.
And the church will spend millions more to beat this rap.
Not much in the way of justice.

  15. You mean after all the catterwauling on this blog about how Finn had to be guilty of everything from aiding and abetting to distributing child porn and should be dragged to the state pen in chains, this is what the grand jury came up with? Misdemeanor failure to report?

And pray tell, all you sharp legal minds, exactly how can the "diocese" be charged with failure to report?

  16. If Finn had spent more time being a bishop and less time trying to stamp out women's rights and Gay rights, he might have found some time to clean up the dirty cabal of priests in his jurisdiction.

  17. Finn won't resign, even though he should because this is going to take deep pockets and it will drain the church...Of course, if he fights, it might draw in more Catholic churches and more filth will rise to the surface and it'll all come tumbling down.

  18. I guess this means that all the Catholic School kids will be ordered to fan out through the neighborhoods selling stale chocolate bars and cheap jewelry in order to fund the Bishop's legal fees.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Finn never cared about whether a priest was a pedophile as long as they were anti-abortion and anti-Gay. He would accept any trash as long as they passed those two tests.

  20. Will u please give my church a try now Tony?

  21. Finn please go NOW.

Don't forget Clay County had a grand jury going too...and the actual sex acts occurred up there. Could there be more serious charges yet to come?

  23. Karma is a REAL bitch, ain't it Finn?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow, the cackling of triumph over a single misdemeanor count.

Do you guys even understand that Finn skates on this one?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anyone know if Finn is even in KC? The State of Missouri? The country? I wonder where Finn's at right now? Anyone bothering to ask Finn's attorney?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am a Protestant Christian. I do not wish ill against the Catholic church.

But this man deserves to be prosecuted.

He said he took "full responsibility." And he IS responsible.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I heard coverage of this on the BBC. The man disgraced his Country and his Church.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Finn is in Turkey investigating the occurrences surrounding a potential beatification. As if this evil bastard would recognize a saint if it bit him on his porn-loving ass. If he had any semblance of a man with an ounce of morals, he would resign immediately. Or stay in Turkey, trample the rights of gays and women over there.

Finn is an evil piece of shit.

  29. Too many hot lil asses to crack before I consider resigning! God said GO FOR IT!!!!
