OCCUPY KANSAS CITY TODAY!!!

Today a great many people in this town stand in solidarity with protesters on Wall Street.

Some describe this this as a protest against American Corruption.

So far only WDAF has really picked up the story as the rest of Kansas City mainstream media are participating in a corporate blackout . . . Once again the local internets provides the most effective means of media distribution for topics that gatekeepers don't want people discussing.

The first clip: Occupy Kansas City - a MetaphorMedia video

Check out Kansas City artist Stella Belle speaking with the crowd.

Occupy Kansas City: Part 2

Like it or not, this is a protest movement that continues to grow and yet another sign of more American discord as the global economy grows worse.

  1. hey dumbasses - you should be protesting the Kansas City Board of Trade, not the federal reserve.

this is what happens when a retard gets their hands on a fucking sharpie and some posterboard.

  2. If you watched the interviews, none of the people had anything remotely informed or intelligent to say. This is just the "adult" version of the Plaza flash mob where older people get a chance to dress up, make signs, and parade around. Of course, it's also the KC version, which is much more polite and subdued than the folks in NY.
And when this "event" is over, they'll all head for the coffee shop and pay with their debit cards. Clueless in KC!

  3. There must have been almost twenty people there!
Yet another, "we're involved too" Kansas City wannabee joke.
Where were the giant puppets and the flute players?

  4. Holy Fucking Shit this idiocy almost makes me root for the corporate CEOs.

If there was an Adbusters for Retards it would look something like this.

  5. "If you watched the interviews, none of the people had anything remotely informed or intelligent to say."

This applies to the reporting of the event here, as well. Natch.

There were about 6 people (scuzzy looking people in fact) when I drove by at about 3:30...yeah, really getting a lot of support aren't you? Try taking a shower, finding some clothes that are clean and getting a job. Nobody with any common sense is gonna listen to a thing you guys say when the messengers look like a bunch of dirtbags...sorry but that's how I see it.

  12. This revolution must have the Bilderbergers sweating bullets in their bespoke suits, lolz.

  13. Joey...just amazed you can type with that Kenyan cock down your throat!!!! Great gag reflex!! Love your president, love the feeling of him up your ass!

  14. These are just Barack voters who blame the economy for ruining their guy's chance to get reelected.

Wall Street is for investing, not camping. When you figure that out you might actually earn some money and you wouldn't have to fear it so much.

  15. It has to start somewhere. Stop complaining and grow a set.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah right. These people are the bullies and poor, little Wall Street is the innocent victim.

Dude, if you aren't outraged by Wall Street shenanigans, you're not thinking.

And "take a shower and get a job"? That line is nearly 50 years old. Can't you at least think up some new schtick?

  17. Here is why they are protesting.

  18. Maybe they heard there was some ObamaMoney being handed out..

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh, like the money Bush handed out so AIG executives could get their eight-figure bonuses and go on a nice company-paid vacation?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Did you know most of the green energy grants are going to Obama cronies?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh, you mean people involved in green energy contributed more to Obama's campaign than they did to McCain's?

Now why on earth would they do that?

    ReplyDelete
  22. What? Cronies getting grants and government contracts?

How much did Halliburton and its subsidiaries make off the Iraq War? Who was their CEO before he became VP?

And how come certain people are never, ever scandalized by Republicans directly raiding the U.S. Treasury? But give a company involved in developing renewable, sustainable energy resources a government grant, and they are OUTRAGED!

  23. Well to begin with, fuck 1:09 for the ignorant, dick-wipe he is. Second, I counted maybe 20 protestors, each of which I'm sure has a different agenda. To compare this to the Arab Spring is absurd. Oh, and did I mention to fuck 1:09 for the worthless, sheet-wearing, douche bag he is?
