"Bribing students with K-PAC fare"
ReplyDeleteReally reaching, Tony. Did you even bother to read the link before you cut-and-pasted it?
This program will save school districts thousands that were spent to bus kids into Lyric and Symphony performances in the past. It says that the KCK schools alone will save $7,000 that will now be spent somewhere else besides diesel fuel for buses.
And if you are familiar with the program, schools with high percentages of kids on free or reduced price lunches get first crack at the transportation money.
Good grief, you griped because the center was built instead of pouring money into schools. Then you griped because the place was "elitist."
Here is a way to expose more children, including poor children, to the arts and to the Kauffman Center, and you find something wrong with it?
Tony can shit on anything. Sometimes it's funny. Most of the time, I'm just here for the tits.
