TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! MAYOR FUNKY'S ORANGE REVOLUTION FAILS TO REMOVE STEEL PLATES FROM KANSAS CITY'S WESTSIDE!!!
Because most of the mainstream reporters in Kansas City live in Johnson County or some other suburb, they might not notice the vast array of steel plates that STILL linger on Kansas City streets despite meaningless promises and legislation from Mayor Funky.
In this post I'm featuring:
A HUGE STEEL PLATE ROADBLOCK CURRENTLY ON SUMMIT THAT SPEAKS TO THE EMPTY PROMISES OF MAYOR FUNKY!!!
These steel plates have been on tearing up tires on Summit for more than a month and the roadblock is getting even more blatant and intrusive to the important neighborhood and downtown thoroughfare . . . It has already caused a couple of accidents and there will be even more if the roads get slick(er).
Around midtown, I notice even more steel plates which I hope people will remember around campaign time when more empty promises abound . . . For now, Kansas City has to live with the fact that Orange Street Signs are the only visible indication of otherwise meaningless promises from Mayor Funkhouser.

Maybe Yael should push as hard as he did to get Funk elected to get the City to post a list of where all the steel plates are in this City and when they were put down. Write Yael, don't whine, Write. Good Work Tony. Let's ask Snow Glo and the 12 mental dwarfs why this hasn't been done!

Somebody just needs to create a web site with a map to the plates and potholes. Then the city will have been noticed up properly - those of us with car damage (my front end and suspension repair totalled just over $2000 this year) can then have a chance of winning damages from the city.
Maybe the hotel can be built out of the steel plates?

Memo to Big Jeff Roe... steel plates were highlighted by the Funk when he started out with the Orange Revolution. You've got him pretty well muzzled nowadays... why not get him out on a road crew picking up the excess plates? Good PR for the Funk, keeps him further out of trouble, gives the citizens some value for the money they're paying him and gives him something productive to do with his time. Constantly hearing how valuable she is and how everything he does must be in the presence of the Squid, he can take her with him. Two for one... what a deal :)
Make sure someone equips the Funk with a snow shovel... it's about the snow and the City doesn't have a lot of money for snow removal.
Let him remove plates in the black part of town. What a sight that would be.
