Good job to NBC Action News who obtained a copy of the P&L District discrimination report that TKC readers previewed on Halloween.

So I have seen that the Peachtree restaurant in the P&L district frequently has private parties that a predominantly catered to African-Americans. Before entering the restaurant for one of these events you are required to be "patted down" or frisked for weapons prior to entering the restaurant. I was wondering if that falls under the "profiling" or discrimination categories too? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteHell 5:53 that is just good common sense!
ReplyDeleteI agree 553, it is a good idea.
ReplyDelete5:53 That is absolutely a LIE. No one is patted down at the three prties tht the Peachtree has had!!!
ReplyDeleteI have been to the Peachtree two steppin' parties and I have never been patted down or frisked. I agree with 631. That's a rumor you hunkies start when it comes to addressing racism. It is reflected in all of the nigga comments you all made yesterday.
ReplyDeleteSorry if my words were taken for some other meaning. I'm not saying that every party has people being patted down, I work at a restaurant on 14th St. near peachtree and have seen people being frisked before going in on two occasions. I know they have alot of parties up there and its a good crowd, but I was just bringing up the fact that there has been atleast two times that they have patted ppl down before going in.
ReplyDeleteLiars. Nobody gets patted down at the Peachtree. It looks great in there. Some people are so ignorant its incredible how they will stop at nothing to try to destroy or discredit anything successfully owned and operated by African Americans. Next thing you know, there will be lies that Gates got metal detectors... So sad and so sickening.
ReplyDeleteThat's a rumor you hunkies start
ReplyDeleteAt the Peachtree it is just hard to get waited on in general.
ReplyDeleteNot at the Lee's Summit restaurant.
ReplyDeleteExcellent food and great service, even to us honky half-breeds
Yancy is correct and so is the other person. The Peachtree parties are for 35 and older crowds. They are not the ones shooting or getting shot. I work at the Peachtree and the parties and we have NEVER pat searched anyone!
