On the subject of TKC sexy photos and why you should read State Of The Line instead!!!

Kansas City blog State of The Line is back and I think that's a good thing. I've already added them back to the blogroll and the live link feed . . . They're averaging a bit more than a dozen posts a day and some of them are pretty funny.

The humor is safe and while the crew come up with content that's much better than what's in Ink . . . It's still pretty standard local fare that wouldn't seem out of place in The Pitch or another "alt. mag" i.e. something white people read for the articles.

I think that the writers at the SOTL blog are pretty talented and they're obviously looking toward a time when dead tree media simply isn't able to publish and that's not really that far away. They've positioned themselves nicely (hehe).

But, as always, I'm here to educate Kansas City first and foremost and that's why I keep reiterating to every d-bag who wants to "dominate" the local Internets that The Long Tail offers a niche for everybody and the more niche sites for this cowtown, the better. That's why I'm happy to link to all local bloggers . . . Put simply and like it or not, all of our ships rise and fall together and even a blog with a minuscule following is just as influential in the minds of its readers as a Star columnist with tens of thousands of reader . . . Welcome to the digital world.

Unlike The Star which is supported by a corporate daily dead tree news monopoly and a sweet tax break: Blogs are just about as popular as they deserve to be . . . So, MO Rage whining about women in bikinis, lingerie and covering nipples probably means that he doesn't really know how the Internet works despite all of his awesome digital photos.

THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS, WITHOUT THE SCANTILY CLAD BABES THAT ADORN THIS BLOG THIS PLACE WOULD QUICKLY LOSE INTEREST FOR ME!!!

So, the babes stay and I encourage timid, weak, easily upset and otherwise scared people to stay away from TKC. This blog does its best to seem dangerous and completely different than content that appears anywhere else in this town; because nice, well-reasoned opinion, commentary and reporting have done nothing to help the progress of Kansas City.

As for the eye candy . . . I took a Women's studies class in college too (in order to meet bi-chicks) so it's not like I don't understand arguments against so-called misogynistic imagery . . . It's just that I don't care. And offering a forum for KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS to break news accompanied by bikini babes and my awesome perspective has always pretty much been my goal with this dump of a blog.
