Alleged, Local Golf Club Water Heist

What interests me about this story from The Star is that involves Country Club d-bags benefiting from KC's old and busted water infrastructure and the last minute effort to recoup costs:"The owner of Staley Farms Golf Club in the Northland has been indicted on a felony charge of theft in the loss of millions of gallons of Kansas City water."

Also, I'm pretty sure this is the same plot to the mini-series V.
