Youtube video featuring the local Twestival looks every bit as lame as the instinct to help animals over people by Internet dorks. In online fund raising these dorks didn't provide 501(c)(3) information and Twestival rules forbade any direct affiliation with that charity (which does have their paperwork in order) other than a simple show of encouragement. Because of this sloppy approach to online cash bundling that could have exposed people to fraud and just a much to trusting relationship when it comes to online charity . . . I had to type trash about the event and point out the obvious weaknesses.
It looks like people took my advice and witnessed the flaws of the approach for themselves. The turnout of what looks like a couple tables of corporate Internet "experts" were the only folks gullible enough to fall for the weird marketing crew attempt at charity.
