Hyde Park white people (and their declining property values) are finally concerned about Kansas City Violence and Murder!!!

From Toellner Tells It: "It is time to end the bloodshed. Tomorrow night, the Hyde Park neighborhood, along with folks from many of the adjacent neighborhoods are going to be having a meeting with local and state officials in order to discuss possible changes to the situation. If you care enough to make a difference -- come to the Central Presbyterian Church at 3501 Campbell at 7:00 Tuesday night, September 15, to listen, show support and make your voice heard."

This should be good . . . Gentrifying white folks upset that their plans haven't earned them a fortune will feign community concern and attempt to reinvent the wheel when it comes to solving crime . . . They really should sell tickets.

    Honestly, there's just nothing they're gonna be able to do with all that Section 8 housing on Armour road. Hyde Park is fucked until someone starts burning all those apartments to the ground...

    Hyde Park has been attempting gentrification since the late 70s. Yuppies move in, fix up the home and leave when they become crime victims. Then a new generation moves in and think they have discovered something unique.

    There will never be any real progress in Hyde Park because its mostly residential so no developer makes any money from it. As long as the lazy KCPD is around crime will continue to be too high for the property to appreciate.
