Thanks to a TKC READER who sent this my way . . . Two things I learned from a Star article on the recall effort.
1. Kansas City has quit supporting and apologizing for Mayor Mark Funkhouser.
2. Kansas City Star readers don't really participate in the site . . . For a paper that CLAIMS one million website readers everyday 1,500 people clicking an online poll is nothing . . . I get just as much response from my rigged surveys and I only provide 1/3rd of it!!!
Both of these points are good news for me.
Just go already.
ReplyDeleteWho the fuck cares about activist for the powers that be who are paied to use work computers to generate discontent?
ReplyDelete"the powers that be"
ReplyDeleteThe glass etcher has gone fucking mad.
yawn.
ReplyDeleteHe is finally gone only a matter oftime and even the Star can't stop it now.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is so sure that they got enough signatures to recall Funkhouser, but we won't know until next week. If they do, then this is only half the battle, many have said that Funk will fight this to the bitter end and then we will have to find the right person to replace him. I am still steaming about how Funk and these city leaders dropped the ball causing KC to lose out on millions in federal stimulus dollars due to their incompetence. With a $90 million budget deficit, this city could have used every dollar they had to dish out if they had've got up off of their lazy butts and went up to Jeff City to ask for it. Making a couple of phone calls and sending emails does not cut it and that's why KC didn't get a cut of the Obama Stimulus cash pie. WAKE UP KANSAS CITY, WAKE UP! IT IS TIME TO GET RID OF USELESS INCUMBENT CAREER POLITICIANS PIMPING THE PUBLIC OFFICE FOR PAYCHECKS AND PAYDAYS FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR CRONIES!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletemaybe someone will bump him off and we won't have to waste money on a recall.
