COUNCIL LADY CIRCO FAILS TO NOTE MURDER FOR CITY HALL EMPLOYEE!!!

I love bloggy screw-ups and AMAZING TKC REGULAR READER catches City Council Council Lady Cindy Circo in a bit of a half truth.

I just posted Circo noting a tragic death of a City Hall worker:
I would have liked to end on a happy note but I did receive word today that a beloved employee at City Hall unexpectedly passed away. Anthony Mosley was one of those people who saw the sunny side of life. He took pride in his work at City Hall, he felt it his mission to bring joy around him and he loved to dance. I know all of us at City Hall are praying for him and his family. I will miss him. I’m sure Anthony will show St. Peter a step or two.
On the surface of it . . . That's a nice note that acknowledges an important denizen of City Hall . . . However, a TKC reader points out:

CINDY CIRCO'S BLOG DOESN'T MENTION THAT ANTOHNY M. WAS MURDERED!!!

That's just like a politico to overlook the most important detail of a Kansas City story that speaks to the increasing violence and crime in this town that is not being addressed by City Hall . . . And now claiming the lives of people working at the center of power in this town.

From what TKC readers are saying . . . Mr. Mosley was a well-liked guy . . . I just think if politicos are going to win points by noting his passing . . . The entire story should be told . . . Thanks to attentive and AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS . . . A politico was just called out trying to skim over the details of yet another local murder.

  3. If and when we have a new mayor after August, who will be the first highly paid city staffers under Funkhouser to get the ax?

  4. Politicians get talked into blogs by political consultants who need to make money in non-election years and get paid to ghost write.

  5. none of the comments so far mention that Tony is right on this one. if you're going to report it, report all the facts.

or in tony's case (often), rumors and innuendo, too.

    Anthony L. Mosley was
fatally stabbed last Thursday in the 3800 block of Olive. Age 51
Mosely may have been robbed and stabbed at his home by a guest. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.

  9. Why did Circo and her political consultant try to gain from the loss of Mr. Mosely?

  10. Anthony was a maintenance man, and a good, friendly , hard-working person. May he rest in peace.

  11. anthony was a drug head who happen to have a wad of money going in the drug house and got stabbed as he was flashing the money. now where in the hell did a maintenance worker get that kind of money to go buy drugs. they are making him sound like a little angel who suddenly began a dope head. he isnt the first employee who is a drug head in that section
