"The Uncanny Work of Michael Williams"

Like most local artists . . . Kansas City film (i.e. video with filters) people tend to be a little freaky . . . A recent Independent Film Coalition of Kansas City (IFCKC) award winner captures the collaboration of two local subcultures.

"The Uncanny Work of Michael Williams" was the 1st place entry for the IFC KC's 2008 "Every Picture Tells A Story" festival. The idea is for local artists and film makers to collaborate an original way to present the artist and their work.

The clip starts off slow but then quickly picks up and looks as if a murder is taking place . . . The fact that it's not a slaughter of a Tarantino movie means that this group of artists has actually made a bit of progress since my days with the group.
