The Co-Mayor's personal appearance

A great many TKC readers have commented on this subject so I feel like I would be letting them down if I didn't at least offer a short post regarding this concern.

Off the record, quite a few TKC readers are saying that Co-Mayor Squitiro looks like crap on TV and she isn't doing a very good job of presenting herself as the "First Lady" of our beloved cowtown.

I've heard a lot of talk on the topic from a surprising number of people. They're saying:

"Can't she run a comb through her hair at least?"

"She's on national TV and she doesn't get out of her pajamas!"

"The Gruesome Twosome on National TV representing this town"

Mind you, with the notable exception of Mayor Funky . . . I'm not gonna rag on the outward appearance of anybody because I look like stir-fried crap most of the time. In fact, my Chicano-fro is sticking out of my baseball cap nowadays and the circles under my eyes are quickly becoming permanent.

Then again, I don't want anybody calling me "the First lady" either.

Only the JoCo SOB has been rude/brave enough to go on record regarding Co-Mayor Squitiro's looks calling her "a beast of a woman."

That's kinda cold and I think there's something beautiful about each and every one of us . . . Or at least that's what my mom tells me when I cry myself to sleep every night because I'm only 5'3.

Anyhoo . . . While Co-Mayor Squitiro uses the "I'm Italian" defense for her behavior and remarks . . . I have to admit that I stereotypically associate feisty, outspoken Italian women with Monica Bellucci. Therefore, when Co-Mayor Squitiro starts looking like Monica Bellucci . . . I'll take back every nasty thing I've ever written about her and forgive any and all racial slurs or nepotism. In fact, I won't even mind when she goes barefoot.
