Logtar writes one of the best essays on Internet friendships I've ever read

Whenever I tackle the subject I always cite uses and gratifications theory but tired old Comm. Studies references aren't nearly as artful as a great laptop analogy. Money line from Logtar's must read essay:
"In my need to make connections with others I became a laptop with no firewall, and in today’s world of viruses I cannot afford that kind of vulnerability. Some people might not even realize how infected they are by fear, intolerance, or just plain ignorance and before you know it they have full access to your hard drive."
Logtar, once again, shows remarkable insight and provides a reminder to me that TKC micro blogger meetups and always a much way to go. And, I really hate bars.
