Earlier this week The Star announced that they're looking for more community writers . . . A special shoutout to KC Meesha who manages to recommend every blog in the metro area except for TKC!!! Double Bonus: He even updated and added two Black guys to ease his conscience!!! I never said I was the most beloved blogger in Kansas City, just one of the best. Still, there's no hard feelings here (no homo) . . . KC Meesha not only hangs out with more 30-something local bloggers at trendy local venues than I ever would want to will but he has also proclaimed that he's much more handsome than TKC!!! No argument here, TKC has been beaten in the Kansas City blogosphere once again . . . Thankfully, in the real world that doesn't really matter much.

I know the Pitch music blog covered this earlier in the week but Stereogum provides a bunch of video clips of a Kansas City reunion of The Get Up Kids . . . Young, white, Kansas City hipsters reading local blogs today . . . You're welcome.
