The KC Guy reports that one more posh local hangout is about to disappear while a few politicos in Kansas City want this town to pay out 1 BILLION Dollars for a train that goes nowhere and has no definite plan.

Too bad. Good restaurant, I suppose, but the staff was always a little on the creepy side. I kind of had that place pegged for "doomed" the first time I ate there 9 years ago. I've had some wonderful evenings in the alleyway patio, though.
The next one to watch for is City Tavern. I think they're having some problems...
Wow, I had no idea this place was in trouble. They seemed to have a good crowd on weekends. I think it might be a case of mismanagement more than financial doom, Tony.
