Handling the situation doesn't have anything to do with middle age white's. When the citizens of the Eastside can get off there asses and turn in the d-bags busting caps, maybe some of these guys can be put to rest. Ever drive by a gun store that teaches CCW classes ? There is an awful lot of middle aged whites getting armed. Personal defense starts with a .4 and ends with a 5 !!!
We seem to care or the media gets better ratings if, the victim has blonde hair, blue eyes, and lives in the golden ghetto, preferably south of 119th street. Then KC cares.
The problem is not the race of the victim but the race of the perps. We wouldn't want to go after any of our protected prople, regardless of the crimes they commit. And the protected people don't want to be a "snitch".
All i will say if your an African American or Latino and you die no one cares. If you die in JoCo Zip code your front page news.
A person stealing a purse from an old white lady in the Northland gets TV coverage.
It doesn't matter if we care, it only matters if the KCPD cares. And they do not.
Fundamental problem is the KCPD. That is where all fingers should point. They don't do anything about property crime at all, can't do anything about street crime, won't respond to 911 calls, and then shoot mentally unstable dudes weilding swords 14 times without warning. Can anybody convince me that they are doing their job at all?
It was nice seeing at least 3 dozen cops and a helicopter hovering over Walgreen's last Friday for 2 hours, keeping the "neighborhood" pharmacy safe. The reporting all said that was a long-standing feud, how come nothing was done about it until the guns came out?
