Mayor Funky throws a fit at press conference and then leaves for The Netherlands
Once again Mayor Funky leaves on a bad note . . . And media watchers have to wonder if the Mayor has fallen out of favor with Star Columnist Yael Abouhalkah, are their many cheerleaders left? TV news has a far more boring take on the press conference but behind the scenes it seems as if talk of a "bunker mentality" within the Funkhouser Administration is completely accurate.

The good news is that the mayor will be out of town. I can only hope he takes Gloria. Bad news is that he left an irresponsible city council that proposes a 1.1 billion dollar light rail. Fix the damn sewers now. Stop the sewer backup in my basement. And for godsake, start calculating the impact of the recession on city revenues. 91 million a mile!! Oh yes, a the city sewer backup into my basement is not an Act of God.
