You people (bloggers) and your Palin posts make me want to puke

This isn't ground breaking. It happened when I was a kid.
Yet, because so many Kansas City bloggers don't know what's going on in their own backyard, the stuff that they see on cable news becomes a big deal.
I must have skimmed 20 posts that were mostly worthless regarding the possible lady VP. The ones I have linked on this blog were the few that had a unique take on the subject that readers won't find anywhere else.
And then there's all the spin from both sides . . . She's big oil, she's your new feminist hero (ugh) . . .
SADLY, FEW (IF ANY) OF KANSAS CITY'S MOST POPULAR INDEPENDENT BLOGGERS HAD ANYTHING TO WRITE ABOUT THE SPATE OF MURDERS IN KANSAS CITY!!!
Pathetic.
On the bright side, it proves my point that most people aren't interested in politics, they're simply reacting to TV programming.
Still, after seeing all of these insights that weren't much better that what TV talking heads come up with . . . I have to ask.
What difference will this broad make in your life?
Is she going to fix KC sewers?
Reduce crime?
Make you taller or whiten your teeth?
At this point the lady is nothing more than a face on TV (just like Obama) yet she has inspired so many local lemmings to share their insights that will soon be proven wrong.
Apparently, Democracy nothing more than a TV show . . . With ratings that are almost as good as LOST when election time comes around.
Blogging the same cup of soup = Best way to kill this new outlet for free expression.

I couldn't care less about KC sewers and there's nothing new about another ghetto killing. If they want to fix it there, they can raise their children better. Marches before camera's wont cut it.
Surely you have noticed that who gets chosen as president affects prices of everything, whether our kids have to go fight wars, get our kids into kazillions of dollars of debt to the chinese, clean the air or don't. I could go on and on.
You're expecting all blogs to do the same as TV does, or radio stations do. All run the same stuff.
I don't run KCMO shitty hall stuff because YOU do! You have it covered. It's your interest. I'll focus more on the media and things in it. That's MY interest.
In fact, you're doing the same thing I fault local TV for... covering only the core city even tho most people live in the suburbs. Anybody covering OP, PV, KCK, Lee's, Olathe, Harrisonville, Gladstone, etc etc? Naw, it's easier to get it all downtown.
You're right about one thing... the best way to kill blogging is if everyone serves the same cup of soup!
Did you see the ratings for Obama's speech? I think a lot of people are interested in politics right now. We're 2 months away from more Cold War or a chance of getting some stuff fixed. I'd say that takes precedence over tonight's Saturday Night killing and isn't it awful? Ya know, the same number of people were getting shot by hotheads when Geraldine ran for VP! I personally don't think street justice is news because it's not unusual.
But I did hear that Funky's responsible for that new hurricane down in the Gulf. He could have done a lot more to prevent it, don't ya think? (grin)
Radioman: Let's put your racist ass to sleep and move on to actually talking about the fact that PEOPLE are dying. I blame the weak prosecutor who seems to give everyone a pass. If i had known what he was going to let a guy who killed a "precious" little girl off I would never had voted for him. Shame on me and I will not repeat that mistake again. But, this guy may look good and sound tough but when the murder rate hits a new record the blood leads to his door.
Finally someone has said it. Kanatzar is a disaster. This is the worse prosecutor i have ever seen. Albert, Claire, Bob Baird, Mike Sanders all were tougher on crime and did better job than this loser. Let another killer off jim. That's seems to be your monthly pattern. Even the Star says you have the worst conviction of any prosecutor in recent memory. I guess that means you will just cut more deal and let more killers walk. You sorry fuck!

If everyone covered the issues and stories that you cover, then what would be the point? Besides, today’s initial posting was nothing more than a bunch of links to local media sites. (sigh)
Next time you run out of something interesting to say, instead of bitching about the other bloggers, perhaps you could spend some time learning how to use a spell/grammar checker? Seriously.
