South Kansas City soccer "snag" means they need a lot more tax money!!!

Nowadays, economic development in Kansas City is so tricky . . . And also completely dependent on government subsidy.
The developer behind the new soccer stadium replacing Bannister Mall has hit a snag.

Officials with The Land 4 Property Group, say a slowed response to a $30 million state tax credit requests has slowed progress for the Bannister Mall project.
Of course, I'm sure the funding will come through . . . What remains to be seen is if it'll amount to any new revenue for South Kansas City other than the pocket change of JoCO soccer moms who may or may not be scared of all the neighbors i.e. minorities.

Note . . . Here's another take on the additional money needed for the soccer stadium, apparently it could be a part of Missouri Republican failure.
