The Northeast News comes up with a pretty interesting article involving a nimrod (really) who is bothering neighbors . . . "The house, known as the Nimrod Chapel or the Charles Mansion, is owned by Nimrod (Rod) Chapel, Jr., a top advisor to Gov. Matt Blunt and former Director of the Missouri Department of Labor . . . City inspectors say they have opened several investigations into whether the home is being illegally used as a music venue."

Live music events should not be hosted in residential areas, period.

Live music events SHOULD be hosted in residential areas, jackass. Where do you think garage bands come from? You expect every new DIY rock group to play at the Folly Theater? Residential areas are for HOMES, you know, where people fucking live. People should be able to have live music acts in their fucking basements if they want to. The problem here are some uptight cracker neighbors who really can't hear any music because they have the a/c/ on, but are just being violent terorists when they call the fucking cops to harass a bunch of punks minding their own business.

I'd get annoyed about loud music late at night too, but come on folks, one of the basic rules of living in an urban community is that you have to tolerate what other people are doing. The fucking world doesn't revolve around your self-centered uptightness. These "community leaders" are a bunch of rich asswipes who can't even bother to talk to their neighbors. I know that the people who have lived in this controversial house have always been conscious of getting along with their neighbors. But if your neighbor is a rich white douchebag who calls the pigs whenever they hear a neighborhood noise coming into their houses, there isn't much you can do.
If these people want total quiet, they should move to the country.

ReplyDeleteI happen to live near a place that illegally hosts live bands on a regular basis. When they do, I cannot hear my own TV, my dishes rattle, and my room humidifier scoots across the floor. And no matter that I have to get up at 5am, I get to stay awake until 2:30am because it's more important to be forced to appreciate shitty so-called music than it is for me to get to sleep and me rested for my REAL JOB.
You jerks that think you have musical talent need to be renting warehouse space in industrial areas, not ruining the quality of life for everyone around you. Learn a little respect.

My friend used to live there rod never lived there he always told them "if any one ever comes by tell them i live hear and im out of town" he charged 1500 a month for that shit hole + 200 a month until the 1700 dollar deposit was paid off. he would never fix any thing they didn't have hot water for ever, the kitchen didn't have a celling, it is a shit hole I actually heard someone say "Man i have squatted nicer places than this" . Im pretty sure he was renting that place illegally and maybe some one should report him.

I looked at his place on 4041 Kenwood ave. Not much better. His add on craigs list says new appliances, and free wifi. But the lady I talked to there laughed.Glad I googled his name before I gave him and money.I would be scared to stay there. And by looking at the windows that dont close all the way would hate to heat that place in the winter with the 3 electric heater he has on the wall in 2 of the rooms. No A/C and no heat NO Thanks.
