Kansas City's Mayor snubs Obama!?!!

Kansas City's Mayor Mark Funkhouser was nowhere to be found at the hope filled, well attended event!!!
Most of the City Council was present, lots of local leaders but Mayor Funky is apparently a no show . . . Tell me again why is Mayor Funky considered a liberal Democrat?
It's disappointing nonetheless for folks hoping for party unity and a true testament to Mayor Funky's popularity or lack thereof.

Maybe Funk wanted to got, but Obama wouldn't let him in?
If my memory serves me, at the big pre-primary Obama rally, Funk never made it to the podium. Despite his protestations, Funk was not supporting Obama and knowing the Obama handlers, they wanted nothing to do with him. Which is why he sat way back in the cheap seats...
That being said, Mayor Mean and nasty is one vindictive nasty piece of trailer trash. Having been dissed in the recent past by Team Obama, I suppose that Funk wants nothing to do with Obama and they want nothing to do with him. After all, they are not looking for a Frank Perdue Chicken Ad... Obama is running for President and will need all the help he can get. He certainly has no need to be dragged down by a person as vilified and disrespected as the Funk.
Oh... would it be a good move for Kansas City for it's Mayor to make nice with the guy who seems to be the odds on favorite to become President? Oops, now why would Mayor Smart With Nothinghouser think of that?
