I love the fact that Kansas City is awash in crazy ass opinions and pundits!!!

There's a new, local conservative site that's in town to keep watch of The Star.

(Oooooooooooooo!!! Scary!!!)

KC News Watch.com is going to challenge Kansas City's paper of record by linking all of their stories and offering quips. It's kind of like TKC only without any humor or half dressed white women. Which means that it's no fun.

Even worse, this website is seriously old school and isn't confident enough in their opinions to offer any kind of real-time interaction with readers in the form of comments.

And once again we see a very serious, earnest and self-righteous webby effort destined for failure because it just doesn't offer much to the discourse of this town. The site features a photo of dumbass Chris Stigall and says that he's "Coming Soon" (EWWWWWWWWWW!) but they don't really offer an original take that I can't hear on talk radio.

I've seen so many conservatives fail miserably in the local blogosphere and on the web because they don't realize that blogging, in part, is about sharing your unique voice and ideas with the world rather than just echoing what can easily be accessed on mainstream channels.

Here's hoping they spruce things up a bit, get an RSS feed and offer comments . . . Heaven knows we need YET ANOTHER opinion in this town. And we all know that the persecution of conservative, affluent, white males must one day come to an end!!!
