"The P&L District is going to run all the bars that came across their popularity honestly (ie. not taxpayer funded) out of business."
KC Beer Blog: Fred P. Ott's in the Town Pavilion downtown is closed. It may involve potato skins, but it's important.

In the last two days I've had to walk away from 3 places that I have had lunch at in the past because the place had either closed completely, or stopped serving lunch. Patty O's closed (it wasn't that great anyway), City Tavern and Seven both stopped serving lunch. First you stop serving lunch, then you close your doors completely. P&L is going to cost this town more than just in tax breaks.
There will soon be nothing left of Downtown that Cordish or AEG don't own.
Inside folks at Cordish make no bones about the fact that they are trying to put all of their competition out of business.
They have a PR hatchet man named Bob Dorko from Cincinnati who will spend what it takes to make sure that local competition dries up.
